Solenne is a science company based in Groningen, The Netherlands near the campus of the University of Groningen. The company was founded by Dr. David Kronholm and Prof. Dr. J. C. (Kees) Hummelen in 2005. David received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Kees is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Groningen. Solenne led the research and development of Oxofulleram and Combray, and the company is sole owner of the patent pending and trademarks. Manufacture of Combray is performed at the company's facilities in Groningen.
